Latverian ruler Victor von Doom, aided in his walking by an ornate came, reemerged today after his car crash earlier this month, refusing to speak to reporters.

Officials said he is still planning to attend the World Cup to support his country's national team, and that "such things as a minor car accident could not possibly dissuade DOOM"

Several groups plan on protesting Doom's arrival, and anonymous threats on his life have been posted on internet message boards from a number of different groups.
