The Girl that Time Forgot

There was a brief flicker as the webcam started to synch up its feed, and Brigid appeared on the screen. She was dressed much like she had been at orientation, even including the glasses.

"Hey, we made it home safe. Some storms, but nothing to worry about," she said with a sheepish wave.

"Man... I've never even been on a regular plane." she smiles faintly. "Must be pretty awesome to have your own jet."

She seemed to ponder for a moment.

"Still, if you thought I was kidding..."

There was an awkward shift of perspective, and shortly after the webcam was pointed out the window. Nearby... a half-dozen pteranodons were gliding.

"Guess we can go and be scared together..." she says, trying hard to not sound desperate but Brigid is pretty much her only friend at this point. (Alex and Colin obviously don't count cause they're boys.)
