The room was still mostly the standard furniture, but there were a few definite Natalya touches here and there. And, of course, now there were boxes scattered around. Natalya lowered herself onto a box and popped open another one. "So, if she's at Muir, what are you looking into?"

"Yeah, totally autonomous would be entirely new," she said. She reached into the box and pulled out a shoe box. She popped it open and passed it to Sam. Inside were a bunch of pictures, the topmost of them from high school at the Institute. "I was so scrawny back then," she commented.

There are also some pictures of Natalya before her Institute days. A girl with dark, almost black, hair doing a variety of activities like playing the violin and gymnastics. "Man, had forgotten those were in there."

As Sam sifted through the pictures, she came across one of an Institute-age Natalya, strapped to a table. She was obviously unconscious and had tubes attached to her arms. On the back of the photo, someone had written "You'll think this was a tropical vacation compared to what I'll do to you." Natalya had her face in the box she was unpacking and didn't seem to have seen the photo yet.
