Emily was writing obscene words on one of the walls with a marker. When she saw Will enter, she turned to face him.

"Hello, dog," Emily says, "Are you here to gloat?"

Emily looks up at Will and there's a wild, haunted look in her eyes. She lifts one hand to her temple and it's trembling.

"I don't know who's real. Sometimes things are one way, sometimes another. I can't keep track and nobody believes me."
