"Like I said... unusual." Several immediate futures also had her using the words 'strange', 'weird', and 'freaky'.

"We're all a little... unusual here. Some more so than others."

[Miranda Weaver]

"True," she agreed. "Also on the horizon, my roommate is going to drive me crazy. I don't even have to be a precog to know that."

[Nailah Weaver]

"I'm afraid that's one of the defining experiences of living in a dorm." she chuckles. "Nothing too bad I hope?"

[Miranda Weaver]

"Organized... like 'everything in fours' kind of organized."

[Nailah Weaver]

"She might not expect you to be as organized."

[Miranda Weaver]

"And the stars in the heavens might rain down on our heads," Miranda said with a resigned sigh.

[Nailah Weaver]

"I think you're being a tad overly dramatic." she chuckles.

[Miranda Weaver]

"I don't think you've seen her side of the room."

[Nailah Weaver]

"I'm sure you'll find a way to get along just fine."

[Miranda Weaver]

Miranda held up her hand like she was holding an orb of some sort, shaking it back and forth before looking at it, "Outlook Not So Good."

[Nailah Weaver]

"With that attitude you'll walk right into a self-fulfilling prophecy."

[Miranda Weaver]

Miranda shrugged, "If it happens, it happens."

[Samantha McManus]

Samantha comes in and lets out a long breath, leaning against the door.

"Well, that's all sorted."

[Nailah Weaver]

"I hear you managed to spook a student already."

[Miranda Weaver]

"Yes, I'm curious to hear sword girl's story."

[Samantha McManus]

"You don't want to know what faces Rogers makes when you ask her to draw up paperwork for the Lady of the Lake's daughter."

[Nailah Weaver]

"That Lady of the Lake?"

[Miranda Weaver]

Miranda just sipped at her juice, letting this unfold while she listened.

[Samantha McManus]

"She came bearing a sword with the Welsh name of Excalibur. She's from Avalon in Tir na Nog."

[Nailah Weaver]

"Well then. It seem like Miranda might no longer be the biggest fish out of water anymore. Did she say why she's here?"

[Miranda Weaver]

Miranda looked like she might object to being referred to as a 'fish out of water', but she thought better of it and kept her silence.

[Samantha McManus]

"She's here to learn. She's not allowed to return for awhile, and they've forbade her mother to check up on her."

[Nailah Weaver]

"Curious... Maybe they're rethinking their stance on not interfering with us and vice versa...."

[Samantha McManus]

"She said they're worried by the thinning of the barriers."

[Nailah Weaver]

"So they're either preparing for that or trying to determine whether something can be done about it from this side. Either way it's a good sign that they send someone to learn, even if she brought a sword."

[Miranda Weaver]

"And she is wildly afraid of you, Mum. You should have seen her wilt when she found out I was your daughter."

[Samantha McManus]

"Oh, I realize. She somehow recognized me immediately."

[Nailah Weaver]

"I can't say I'm particularly surprised." Nailah smirks faintly.

[Samantha McManus]

"With my luck, I'm in the bloody Tir na Nog yellow pages."

[Miranda Weaver]

"You do sort of have a presence, Mum. And looking at her in the Astral..." She just shook her head.

[Nailah Weaver]

"She probably worries she might be fated to fall in battle soon." Apparently Nailah finds this whole situation vaguely amusing.
