Bear and John's Place

[John Hino]

The door to the couple's quarters opened and John stepped in, putting his keys down.

"Honey, I'm home!" he called out.

"I just always wanted to say that!" he added quickly.

[Byrna Cooper]

"I think I've got a June Cleaver Dress from a couple halloweens ago in the closet..." Bear said mischievously, peeking out from the kitchen.

"Ward, we need to talk about the Beaver."

[John Hino]

"Sorry, what was that? I'm imagining you in a June Cleaver Dress now," he smirked.

[Byrna Cooper]

"You have good taste in fantasies."

Bear smiled, turning back to the kitchen to turn off a soldering iron. And turn on a window fan.

[John Hino]

He followed her in.

"June Cleaver soldering," he grinned, "Hot."

[Byrna Cooper]

"Sorry about the mess, I needed to make an emergency weld on one of my acid balls.. And add a patch to the satchel."

[John Hino]

"I was wondering what smelled so bad. It leaked in your satchel?"

[Byrna Cooper]

"Just a little?" Bear replied, smiling.

[John Hino]

"I'll let this violation of the no lab work at home rule off with a warning then," he teased.

[Byrna Cooper]

"You are the best."

Bear smiled, giving him a kiss.

"Any thoughts on dinner? I think we still have some eggs left."

[John Hino]

"I was thinking we could go out tonight."

[Byrna Cooper]

"That works, too!" she replied, smiling.

"How fancy are you thinking?"

[John Hino]

"Not too fancy. I think we'll get all the fancy we can stomach on Saturday."

[Byrna Cooper]

"The hellfire club, yeah.."

Bear still felt a little uneasy about that.

"Let's go to the pub we haven't tried yet, then."

[John Hino]

"Sounds good to me," he smiled.

[Byrna Cooper]

"Good! Let me clean up and change, and we can head out."

[John Hino]

"Alright," he said, "I ought to change too."
