Allison's Apartment - Been The Strong One

Allison settled herself onto her couch. She hadn't bothered to take off her training outfit or even properly close the door. She'd lit a couple of candles and her eyes were reflecting the candle light as she sipped at her beer and contemplated the night's events. The flickering light could probably be seen by anyone passing the door, even if they couldn't see anything else around the partially closed door.

Dee raps her knuckles on the door softly.

"Come in," Allison said softly, her gaze still attached to one of the candle flames. The candles were the only light in the room, though there were several of them casting light.

"Well this is all terribly relaxing," Dee says quietly, making her way to the couch.

"Back from a workout?"

"You could say that. Was playing one of the referees for Stanton's game. Had to make a quick run to the Medical Center to make sure the Easley boy didn't tear the staff a new one while they checked his sister." Then she added, "Beer's in the fridge." She took another sip of her own.

"Ah, wondered what the uniform was for," she nods, heading to the fridge.

"I suspect they'll have me fixing the... ah... structural damage I saw."

"He's responsible for some of the table destruction in the cafeteria. The windows are the fault of the big Murphy girl. I expect a letter any day from Braddock's attorneys wanting to discuss the 'unkind use to which we've put the mansion'," she said with a chuckle.

Allison chuckled and took a long drink from her beer. Her eyes were slitted, obviously she was riding the animal a little close right now. "Always different when it's someone else doing it though."

Allison leaned into her, twisting her own bottle in her hand. "Occasionally some things just make me mad. The Easley kids and that cult that they ran from."

"I've seen that sort of thing before. Short of calling child services on them, there's little that can be done. They tend to circle the wagons, and often the children don't know there's any other way."

Allison chuckled, "No, it's not. But it seemed silly to clean out more than that when you live down the hall. Unless of course you wanted to move in... or vice versa, but that's another level of conversation."
