After carefully making their way to Sam's room Nailah carefully knocks on the door.

Samantha tensed in her bed at the noise, and then warily sat up and pulled the covers back. She walked to the door and peered through the fisheye lens to see who it was.

She'd see a somewhat anxious Nailah, glancing up and down the hall.

She self-consciously reached up to her hair, but then forced herself to focus on the seeming urgency of things.

Slowly, she opened the door.

Nailah didn't quite push herself into the door, but she looked a little like she wants to.

"Can we come in? Something happened and... I think you should really see this."

She steps inside. "We found another key." she says, glancing at Steve, letting him explain how exactly that happened.

He explained how he had returned from the bathroom to see some thing messing with Nailah's open head, how he chased it away, and how he helped her.

Samantha recoiled from the thing as if it were alive.

"Do you... think it's safe to even be touching that?"

Aside from possibly using the key to undo what had been done to them, Steve had no desire to use the thing.

"Well when we decided to come here I started to worry, so when I got dressed I was wondering..."

She reaches into her purse again and pulls out a tiny version of herself that's wearing some kind of funeral garb and is almost twitchy in the way it's looking around.
"Oh god, let go of me, it's not safe out here, what if you drop me, what are you doing, you could squish me, be more careful, I almost suffocated in there, oh god, oh god..."

"We... This place is dangerous Miss Weaver... you should be afraid."
