I'm connected through a program called Pidgin and don't seem to be having issues. I know Keahi's had issues with Mibbit lately.

Mibbit throws that up for me sometimes and it usually goes through when I try a couple times. I'm currently connected, so it should work theoretically, at least.

Weird. Not letting me on at all no matter how many times I try.

Edit: Actually, it looks like it's straight up Magicstar that is having the issues, so a different client might not help.

Yeah. I can't get to MagicStar's website and pinging their server gets host unreachables.

While this is happening I suggest a temporary solution of hanging out on the Mibbit server. Convenient link right here:

Crisis over, Magicstar seems to be back.

*starts campaigning that we move chat to a skype group again*

I'll go wherever the people are. Verizon blocks all IRC traffic when on cellular data, so if I'm out and about I can rarely get on (though I can get on via Mibbit in a mobile browser, but that's less than ideal.

Looks like Mibbit's exploded for me and has been for the last little bit. I can't seem to login and the direct link to the chat room isn't working either.

It was Magicstar. It's back up now.

Yeah. Mibbit's login process is borked. I used the direct link and that worked.

Direct link isn't working for me either. Neither is just mibbit.com/chat or even kiwiirc.
