Sara's body (or parts of it) is capable of turning into stone of varying states, ranging from quicksand-like fluidity to being completely solid, allowing her to mimic various shapes and forms. She's limited by the body-mass her body "supplies" and can only go maybe 10% up/down in volume/density.
Another thing she recently discovered is the ability to absorb small amounts of non-organic, non-metallic materials (so basically stone, soil, sand, bricks) into her body for a short time to increase the mass available to her, but it's exhausting since she has to constantly has to keep it absorbed or the substance instantly returns to it's original form. Currently she can hold on to about 10 pounds of mass for roughly an hour, less mass and she can hold it considerably longer, more and it quickly tires her out (she could maybe double her mass for a couple minutes)
The material also tends to revert back to it's original shape and form when she loses physical contact though with effort she can keep it the way she shaped it. At least at the moment damage done to her will carry over to her normal body.
Personality:
Sara usually takes a while to warm up to people although when she does she can be very sweet albeit a little stubborn. She can have a bit of a temper sometimes, especially when she grows impatient about something or is disagreeing with someone.
Description:
Sara is 5'5" and while she's not chubby she isn't exactly slim either. She keeps her brown hair at just above shoulder length. Her clothes aren't paticularly on top of current fashion and mostly just jeans and t-shirt/blouse.
Background:
Sara grew up in a middle-class family in Cardiff, living a pretty normal and boring live, curiously (and a little bit enviously) following the news and events sorrounding mutants and their growing population.
When her own mutation manifested she quickly realized her 'dreamy' view of it was just a little unrealistic. During that time she was a rather difficult kid and not just because of her X-gene although that certainly triggered her self-loathing and self-destructive phase. She somewhat recovered from it over time, but she still hasn't the best self-esteem.
At XU she met Will and quickly fell in love with him. Not long after she found out she was pregnant and she married Will before their daughter Robin was born. She is set on making the world a better place for her ever since spending some time in a future in which mutants had to fight for their lifes.
