Name: Molly Malcolm
Age: 17
Power: Molly is not bound by the whims of gravity and can achieve unaided levitation or flight at will. The effect seems to be the result of some form of manipulation of Molly’s own personal gravitational field, but the effect is very poorly understood.
Currently, the top speed Molly can achieve is 45 MPH for a short period of time. However, her control over her abilities is still a bit shaky. Sudden emotional shock or slips in concentration have resulted in her returning rather painfully to the ground.
Personality: Molly is outgoing, cheerful, and always eager to please the people around her. She can also be annoyingly tone deaf and condescending to people. In her defense, it usually comes from naivety and ignorance rather than any true ill will.
Description: Molly is tall and thin with long blonde hair. She has a fondness for designer labels and expensive fashions that her parents tend to indulge. If this were a movie, she’d be the terrible popular girl who acted as the villain in a high school romantic comedy.
Background: Molly was born into an upper class family to a dentist with a prominent private practice and his second wife, a dental hygienist barely out of school. The oldest of two kids, Molly was brought up never wanting for anything. She went to the best private school in town, had all the popular kids for friends, and was never hungry a day in her life.
Unfortunately, things changed rather quickly for Molly when she woke up one morning a good five feet above her bed. After that, her life became something of a struggle (at least, in her mind). She was required to register for the MRA and go through their training courses. She did her best to hide her mutation from her friends, but after an incident where her powers were exposed, she started refusing to go to school.
In order to help their daughter, her parents arranged for her to be sent to the Institute where she might feel more accepted.
