Power: No metahuman abilities. Justin is able to fly by use of the Mystic Cape of Mercury, which was given to his grandfather during his golden age adventures.

Skills: Hand-to-hand combat - Justin has military level hand-to-hand combat training. He is proficient with the use of small projectile weapons.

Equipment: Mystic Cape of Mercury - An enchanted cape, an heirloom from his grandfather's golden age mystery-man days. The cape is indestructible, and allows him to fly at high speeds without risk of suffocation or adverse effects from friction with the air.

Battle Staff - Justin uses a collapsible titanium staff that can deliver an electric shock to serve as a taser.

Hand Crossbow - Justin is proficient with the use of a wrist-mounted crossbow, able to utilize both standard and 'trick' bolts.

Personality: Justin has a sense of duty, and a desire to stand up to the reputation his grandfather had in older times when superheroes were much more rare. He respects those that make the most of what they have, but not those who rely too heavily on any sort of easy advantage they have.

Description: Justin is powerfully built, born from years of exercise and training. He has black hair and brown eyes, and is on the tall side of average.

Background: Justin's grandfather was Thomas Halloway, the World War 2 hero known as the Angel. Justin was raised hearing about his grandfather's exploits on his own and with the V-Batalion from his uncle. In this day and age, that tought him one thing: The heroes weren't the people with crazy powers. They were the ones who stood up and, despite what advantages they lacked, decided that by god, they were going to make a difference.

He discovered that no, it wasn't difficult for the grandson of a war hero to get training. Since he was sixteen, he was training his combat skills through contacts his family had, making the most of what was available to him. On his eighteenth birthday, he was given the legacy that his grandfather had left for him, despite his father's misgivings: the magic cape he'd been given during his adventures.

When the call came out for new Avengers, Justin went through his father's contacts and sent word to Steve Rogers that, just like in the golden age, an Angel was ready to assist him.
