Telepathy. Jennifer can hear and transmit thoughts. She's also begun to notice that with enough concentration she can create translucent forcefields made from psionic energy. They always take spherical shape or partially spherical shape. The further away or bigger they are and the more damage they absorb the more mental effort it takes.


Personality:
Jennifer is quiet and other people would probably describe her as absentminded and gloomy. And they wouldn't be entirely wrong. But Jennifer is listening, she just doesn't always have something to say, even if it makes her seem slow sometimes. In truth she's just a very calm person, though she can be rather morose at times and her love for horror stories and the macabre doesn't help.


Description:
She prefers dark blues and blacks in her clothes and often wears full length skirts or dresses. Her straight, dark hair falls well past her shoulders and she tends to always have bit of a vacant expression on her face, especially when she's lost in thought, which happens often.


Background:
It took Jennifer longer than she'd care to admit to realize the thoughts she'd been hearing in her head weren't actually what she imagined others were thinking but their actual thoughts. And even then she initially considered that maybe she was just schizophrenic, something she oddly found more curious than frightening. But then she'd always been kind of odd. When she figured out what was going on she hid it for as long as possible, especially with the attitude towards mutants growing rather tense in the US. Eventually she came clean to her parents who, afraid of what might happen to her daughter, send her to the UK to finish her last two years of high school.
