Character Name: Sergei Isaac Tereshchenko
Country of Origin: United Kingdom
Hometown: London, England
Age: 36
Birthday: October 13
Height: 6'1"
Position: Asst. Head of Security, Law Enforcement Liaison Officer, and weekly Criminology lecturer.
---------------------------------------------

Physical Description: Sergei is a tall and moderately muscular Caucasian man with brown hair and green eyes. On his back is a large, circular alchemical diagram tattooed there in skin-thick dark metal. His arms and legs are also metal, though hidden by an image inducer.

Personality: Friendly overall if sometimes a little rough around the edges, occasionally falling into bouts of self-pity and regret.

Power Explanation: Sergei's mutant power is accelerated healing, though now further enhanced by magic. Using arcane arts, mad alchemist Boris Karpov replaced Sergei's limbs and much of his skeleton with stronger organic metal "cybernetics" including retractable metal tendrils in his arms. These additions were fused to Sergei's very being in such a way as to extend his mutation to them.

History: The Tereshchenkos have been in law enforcement since before they fled the Bolshevik Revolution. It was only natural Sergei did the same and followed in his father's footsteps. His meager mutation proved a roadblock for a time, but his father's sterling reputation in the Metro soon opened doors. Sergei then pulled himself up to detective status and has served with distinction ever since.

Then everything went sideways. He had made a promise to his brother Peter, who died fighting in Afghanistan, that in such an event Sergei would look after his fiancee Lucy. When she disappeared, he went to the ill-fated town of Thornhurst to keep that promise. That was when he was captured by Doctor Boris Karpov, brutally experimented on, and forcibly recruited into his elite guard. In the end, the X-Men freed him from Karpov's control. Lucy wasn't so lucky. Her body was found in Karpov's morgue during the clean-up.

Sergei then spent many months at Muir, being treated for the mental trauma of his ordeal and resulting loss. Many attempts were made to undo some of Karpov's alterations, but all proved futile. After his release he couldn't get his job back on account of being institutionalized and the unknown danger potential of his new abilities. Hoping the university would take him in some capacity, he applied for a staff position.
