After parking his motorcycle, Nick led Melody along The Strand. He could have sworn the club was supposed to be somewhere around here.

Melody smirked after not too long into their stroll.

"So, are we going for a romantic fall stroll or are we lost," she teased.

After an awkward moment he brought out his smartphone to check his directions. Then he turned around.

"Okay now I'm not lost."

It wasn't long before they found the neon sign of the otherwise outwardly unassuming Black Lotus club, featuring a big purple neon lotus.

"Don't worry, it's supposed to be much swankier on the inside."

"What do you want?" she hollered back from the edge of the crowd waiting for a reply before she dove too far in.

Not long and many batted eyelashes later, she returned with two drinks.

"I think I promised the bartender I'd go home with him or something, so you might have to fight him off or something," she laughed.

She was joking, right?

Melody wasn't an especially good dancer, and it was crowded, so there wasn't much room to do much besides bounce near each other or grind a bit.

Neither of which were unpleasant options though!

Several songs in, Melody finished her beer, and grabbed for Nick's in a way that suggested she meant to buy another round for the two of them.
