Sept 28: This Thread Is Full Of Spiders

[Narrator]

Yui let's out a shrieking "Nooooo!" as the demon-slaying weapon hammers against bone-white chitin. A wide crack opens up in her side and black sludge spills out. Yui drags herself away from John, using her human arms as much as her broken spider body. As Yui's scream dies down to a weak gurgle her wail is picked up by Rin who throws herself down on her knees next to Yui. "No! That's not how it was supposed to go..." she mourns just before a look of surprise comes over her face when Yui's hand closes around her throat, cutting her off. "This isn't over, Hino-san! The bones are patient!" she manages before she and Rin begin to whither away until all that's left is skin and bones.

[John Hino]

"So... am I," he said, breathing heavily as he looked at the monstrous husk with disgust.

He then turned to the others. "Let's go find the... other..." he began before dropping to his knees, using the club as a crutch.

[Melissa Castro]

"Other?" Melissa asked, moving to support him.

[John Hino]

His darkforce armor wasn't growing back over his shoulder wound.

"... the captives from yesterday."

[Narrator]

It doesn't take long to find the path that leads from the cavern up into the basement of the club, where they find the captives locked up in a room. It takes some convincing, but they convince them to leave and follow them up to the club and outside where X-Corp and the police are waiting.

[Will Stanton]

"John!" Will cried, seeing the X-Teams come out. "Mizuki's alright, she's safe."

[John Hino]

John mouthed a weak "Thank you" before passing out.
