Alien abduction!

Local woman swears she was taken by aliens last week.
Great Totham - It was a walk home she had made countless times but for Laura Newling it ended unlike any other last week. On Tuesday night on her way home from work Miss Newling initially went missing and was reported as such by her husband the next morning. But two days later she showed up at the front door of her their flat, seeming dazed and disoriented. When questioned what happened she claimed she couldn't remember where she had been but that she recalls a bright light was the last thing she saw and that blurry memories of featureless creatures keep her up at night that, when shown pictures, she identified as the commonly termed "Greys" that supposedly abduct humans all over the world for unknown purposes... continued on page 4

The picture shows a woman in her mid-twenties with mid-length brown hair, looking especially frightened for the camera.

Mutant Terror!
Where will they strike next?

Image

An office building in Washington DC was the target of a terrorist attack late last night as 5 am. Authorities suspect yet another act of mutant terrorism, following several outbursts of violence following the passing of the Mutant Registration Act. So far it had been minor demonstrations and riots that were dissolved by police, supplied with anti-mutant equipment, but this attack shows a more involved method and must have been planned beforehand. As to why this building in particular the police couldn't tell us. It appears to be a simple office building for various companies, housing a small datacenter. Special police teams have cordoned off the area. Initial reports indicate that the building was empty at the time of detonation, though some early commuters were hurt in the explosion and are being treated for minor injuries.

Father of MRA Program to visit UK
US Senator Kinsey to visit London to promote MRA program.

Image

Senator Kinsey will be visiting London for talks with the House on the merits of the Mutant Registration Act on the possibility of instating a similar program in the United Kingdom. His visit is expected to draw a lot of protesters and security will be heightened in the area. Senator Kinsey, who introduce the bill requiring mutants to register with the federal government last year, has held controversial views on mutants ever since his wife was killed in a Brotherhood attack on civilians. The Royal Family, a strong supporter of mutant rights due to Princess Louise being saved by the X-Men, is not expected to take part in the talks. But public opinion and the political climate on the matter has always been very polarized so it is unsure how the talks are likely to go and whether the House will be looking into drafting an UK version of the bill.
