Hino Stock Plummeting
Closing with only minor losses last week Hino Industries started the week continuing the downward trend. Experts are surprised but blame the development on manufacturing issues and the enduring rumors about Kazuhiro Hino's mental health that surfaced late last year, sparked by a brief disappearance and have been persistent, despite the company assuring everyone of the CEO's well being. Hino Industries Stock closed at a record 11% loss, the biggest decline the company has experienced in over a decade.


Firefighters strike over pensions
Firefighters across England begin a four-day strike in a row over pensions during one of the service's busiest weekends of the year. Fire Brigades Union members walked out at 18:00 GMT and are due to return on the Wednesday evening. Some fire brigades have warned the public could be left 'vulnerable' and small fires may not be attended. Fire Minister Penny Mordaunt said fire and rescue authorities have 'robust' plans in place for the week.


London hit-and-run collisions increase for fourth year
The number of people injured in hit-and-run collisions in London has risen for the fourth year running, Metropolitan Police figures have shown. A total of 4,154 people were injured in these type of collisions last year, up from 3,090 in 2009. London Assembly Green Party member Jenny Jones said: 'This is a worrying trend which the Met Police needs to treat as a priority.' The Met said it 'treats road crime with the seriousness it deserves'. The force added it 'targeted criminals who use our roads, working with partners to ensure the safety of all road users in the capital.' However, the number of fatalities and serious injuries as a result of such collisions fell compared with the preceding year.


Construction Finally Finishes
The construction happening at the in St. Paul's tube station in London finally finishes to the relief of many commuters. The station was forced to undergo extensive construction work when a train derailed two months ago, damaging a platform and injuring eight passengers. MGN Constructions once again apologized for the inconvenience caused by the project and thanked the commuters for their patience with the schedule that had to be extended several times.
