A Chopper above the North Sea

[Madrox Saavedra]

Madrox remembered the chemicals in the lab and searched his visual records of them for anything useful against the creature.

[Narrator]

Oh, there were plenty of acids and things of that nature, if that's the direction he wanted to go in. Also a number of things that weren't immediately recognizable

[Madrox Saavedra]

"Think you can hold it off for a minute if it gets loose? I have an idea."

[Sara Stanton]

"Hurry though!" she says, reaching out with stone-tentacles of her own, trying to wrap around the thing's torso and draw it back before it wrenches free of it's limb.

[Madrox Saavedra]

Maddie rushed to the chemicals and quickly but expertly began mixing a destructive chemical cocktail.

[Narrator]

Sara was too late, as with a sickening rip, the thing ripped it's own arm out of it's own socket, and began headed out towards Maddie.

[Sara Stanton]

"Maddie, watch out!" she shouts as she lets go of the tentacle and stomps after the thing.

[Madrox Saavedra]

"And..." he said, flicking a powdered chemical into the Erlenmeyer flask. It foamed and he gave it a shake before throwing it at the creature.

[Narrator]

The creature howled as the firebomb hit it, and it burst into flames, collapsing in on itself.

[Narrator]

The creature rapidly putrefied into dust...

...and reappeared, dead, in the coffin.

[Sara Stanton]

"What the bloody hell!?"

She certainly didn't expect that, but she still react fast and tries to slam the lid on the coffin.

[Narrator]

As the creature appeared to be dead, Sara would have no problem shutting up the coffin.

[Sara Stanton]

Looking at the broken chains for a moment she begins shifting the remains of the cube around to encase the coffin in stone.

[Madrox Saavedra]

"Only one of them after all..."

[Elena Rousseau]

"Let's hope there's only one of them."

[Narrator]

Sara was able to stone-ify the coffin pretty easily at this point.

[Sara Stanton]

"You realize that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever?" she tells Madrox as she finishes and returns to normal to catch her breath.

[Madrox Saavedra]

"Think of it as a regeneration device with a teleportation feature," he said plainly.

[Sara Stanton]

"Ah yes and they built that into the coffin or the metal chains. Of course!"

[Madrox Saavedra]

Madrox stopped himself from arguing.

"Whatever happened here, while gruesome and horrible, isn't our goal to ferret out. We're here for Will."

[Sara Stanton]

She nods. "And we got him." I hope.

[Madrox Saavedra]

He nodded. "We'll perform another once-over on the way out in case we overlooked anything, but I think we're done here for now."

[Narrator]

They could search around more, and find a number of peculiar things, but nothing that responded like that horrible...thing in the coffin, nor any more Rods O' Will.

[Elena Rousseau]

"We should probably call someone to secure this place," Elena said as they finished up their search.
