"Wasn't her time yet, eh?" he jokes, his coping mechanism for weird shit apparently being inappropriate humor. He doesn't really wait to see how his jokes goes over with Sam, puts on a professional face and steps into the room.
After about 20 minutes he comes back out. "Well, she doesn't quite seem to understand that she's a victim, which I suppose is good? We don't really need her to press charges to add on more years to an already ridiculous looking sentence. Feels wrong, but I didn't want to pressure her. Apparently she met her in a cafe in London, which tells us absolutely nothing, because she described her as a brunette in her early thirties. I showed her a picture of Bell and she didn't even recognize her."
