Haley glared daggers at the girl, the slight aura of psionic energy around her making the stare that much more frightening.

"Yeah, well, can we not call anyone a whore while we're navigating the sadistic death traps?"

Emily wipes her face with her sleeve and then rubs her eyes with both hands. She takes a deep breath.

"...Would you prefer 'slut bag'?" Emily asks, her voice returned to the flat, dull monotone.

Brigid facepalmed.

"...how about 'Haley'?"

"All right, well, we need to figure this out. Sooooo..." Alex walked up to door 1, looking for how to open it.

"Is there anyone who can put a gag on the girl who left behind her brain-to-mouth filter?"

"And if you guys ask me, we're fucked whatever we pick. It might be a trap just as bad in all three doors."

"Good job. I know opening doors might seem complicated but it's usually not." Sid says, making a huge deal out of taking the last step up to the door she'd been walking towards when things had gone a little crazy and looks to open it.

The door opens automatically for Sidney. It leads into a dark black hallway, identical to the one behind the other door.

Alex sighed as he waited, knocking on his door a couple times.

There was a horrible scream behind Alex's door, followed by a loud grinding noise. After a moment, his door opened as well, revealing an identical dark hallway.

Oh god... And predictably, Alex ran through the door, hoping it wasn't too late for whoever was screaming.

Lest anybody call her a coward Sidney walks into the hallway.

Brigid winced at the noise and... saw her boyfriend running headlong into danger. Well, that was troubling. Sidney would probably grow back her arms or something. She started running after Alex!

The door slammed shut as soon as Sidney and Alex crossed the threshold.

Inside, the walls began to grow a bright blue. A loud whirring echoed through the hallway briefly before there was a flash of light and the two disappeared.

Above the doors they had entered the words "WRONG ANSWER" appeared.

"Well. That was phenomenally stupid of them."

Tommy waits, unsure what to do as the doors begin disappearing.

"Well, one door left.."

He takes a deep breath, and moves to door nĂºmero treis.

Tommy stopped, freezing in place until some decision was made as to which door to use.

He looked deathly scared.

"Come on T-Bow, we can't just leave them behind. Can you make the doors easier to break?"

"I.. I suppose.."

He carefully made his way to the door Sidney and Alex has used, and placed his hands on the door.

After a few moments, the door began shifting hues and shine, as it jumped from one metal type to the next.

"give me a moment.."

There was nothing preventing Tommy from changing the metal of the doors and it would trigger no immediate traps.

After a few more seconds, Tommy's eyebrows furrowed, as he drew his hands across each other, causing the door to flutter and flash.

He backed up, revealing the door was now a crisscrossed mishmash of different metal types and grains running against each other, chaotic and unordered.

"Ok, it should be weakened now.." He said, tugging on his hat.

Brigid nodded with determination and put her hand on the door for a moment before backing up a step and letting loose a brutal kick at a fairly specific spot.

Brigid's strike broke a decent size hole into the door. Looking inside, she could make out a dim figure laying on the ground. It was hard to tell, but it looked a little like Alex.

After Alex and Sid disappeared Haley froze before she pursued the telepath behind the door she opened, a bit shocked that they might possibly be gone. She closed her eyes and focused, trying to see if she could find their minds telepathically and at least know whether or not they were alive...

Steve, assuming Haley was using her brain powers to search, put a hand on her shoulder and closed his eyes.

"Two heads are better than one."

He focused and added his strength to the effort. It was actually quite considerable, she would find.

Haley was not nearly as good at her telepathy as she was at her telekinesis, and it showed as Steve joined her mind. Still, she'd likely help give him some oomph so she tried to more follow his lead than anything else.

Mariuset took a deep breath, and then unleashed a torrent of hot flame at the metal. It wouldn't melt it or anything like that, but it did get it red hot.

Despite Haley and Steve's best efforts, they couldn't sense anyone except the people currently in the room with them.

Meanwhile, Mariuset managed to help Tommy significantly weaken the door. It would be much easier to break down now.

As everyone worked, Calvin would receive a message.

Brigid busted through the door easily. Go teamwork!

Light from the room lit up the dark hallway beyond the door a little bit. It was definitely Alex slumped on the floor. He wasn't moving.
