I13: Proctors

[Will Stanton]

The Blackbird screamed over the skies, headed for London. Anyone on the rescue mission would be inside, or alongside if they flew fast.

"ASHLIE, is the building I'm seeing down there the source of the signals? It looks like an ordinary warehouse to me..."

[ASHLIE]

"Affirmative. Looks can be deceiving, Current Team Leader."

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

Steph cracked her neck and knuckles anxiously.

[Will Stanton]

"Right. Anyone else favor the direct approach, or should we put 'er down and go on foot?"

[John Hino]

"We don't want to take any unnecessary risks with the possibility that the kids are in there," John pointed out.

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"John's right--keep it quiet and we have a much better chance of keeping the kids safe."

[Narrator]

"Works for me. It'll draw a bit more attention, but that's fine.

Set 'er down in that vacant lot over there."

And so they did.

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"They're going to know about us soon enough either way. Crashing through the roof, so to speak, puts the kids at more risk in my mind."

[Will Stanton]

"Right. We'll stealth our way in. Alright, head-count. Everyone ready?"

((i.e. let the narrator know who the heck's here ))

[Sara Stanton]

"Ready." says tersely, glad to have avoided having to jump out of the damn plane.

[John Hino]

John went a nice stealthy black as he armored up.

"Ready."

[Nash Riley]

"Ready." said Nash, who had apparently grabbed more of his equipment before getting on the plane.

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

Steph shifted into a large wolf and let out a huff of agreement, following the rest of the team.

[Isabel Galen]

"I'm ready." Isabel replied

[Will Stanton]

"Righto. Let's see if we can slip in through a vent or something rather than approach the main entrence," Will said, headed for the side of the building. "I think I see an air intake up there--can anyone get it off?"

[John Hino]

"No offense, but... yeeaah... I don't think I'll fit in an air vent."

[Will Stanton]

"Do you have a plan B?"

[John Hino]

"Let's... see how big it actually is first."

[Sara Stanton]

"Let's go for a two-pronged approach then. I'm not much use crammed into a narrow metal corridor either if something goes wrong." Sara says, waving her scanner around to see if she can pick up any readings on the inside of the building.

[Nash Riley]

Nash looked up at the what Will had called an air intake. Looking to see if that is what it actually was, and if there was a good way to get up there.

[Narrator]

It certainly LOOKED like an air intake, and it was fairly large, all things considered. John would be a tight fit, but grease 'em up, and even the lizard might be able to enter that way.

Sara's scanners were picking up energy readings off of the charts.

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

Steph sniffed the air deeply, trying to see if she could catch any scent of the kids.

[Sara Stanton]

"What the hell is this place. I'm picking up all kinds of signals..."

[Ryan Gabriel]

"I can scout through that intake. If there's anything to see, we need to see it... the quiet approach is probably best."

[John Hino]

"If we did split up, what's the secondary approach?" I'd suggest hacking the electronic door locks but the people have a knack for digital booby traps."

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

Steph shifted to her hybrid form to speak, dropped down in a crouch. "Don't think you can bypass the security, John?"

[Sara Stanton]

"I think we can by-pass the door by force while the rest sneaks in."

[Narrator]

Steph sniffed the air deeply, trying to see if she could catch any scent of the kids.

No scent of the kids from outside, at the very least.

[Will Stanton]

"Alright then, two teams. Anyone willing or capable to do the sneaky bit will head up through the vents, while our bigger and snarlier companions will draw attention."

[Ryan Gabriel]

Ryan looked around to see if anyone was going to be coming with him on the sneaky part.

[John Hino]

"Well I am good and we do have Ashlie, but there are probably cameras inside anyway" John said before cracking his knuckles, "So we might as well give them a show worth seeing."

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

Steph shifted to human form and moved next to Ryan. "I can do sneaky."

[Will Stanton]

"I'm up for the sneaky stuff, as well.

Raise hell, you guys."

[Nash Riley]

"I guess I'll go with John and Sara then, I'm not that experienced at being sneaky."

[Isabel Galen]

"I'll stick with Sara and John, too." Isabel said "I be more useful there."

[John Hino]

"How much of a head start do you want before we draw their attention?" John asked Will.

[Will Stanton]

"Not too much--hard to tell, really. We could trip a sensor in there right away, in which case you need to go quickly. Let's just do it roughly simultaneously."
