"Oh god, those bloody bastards!" she says, slamming the door shut again. Then she shifts back to normal for the first time since arriving at the facility. She looks pale. And very angry. Without a word she walks around the room with purposeful steps, gathering a variety of bottles of different chemicals. Once she's found everything she's looking for she walks back to the cold room, opens the door long enough to chuck the glass bottles inside. When the last one goes she slams the door close again just in time for the mixture of chemicals to violently catch on fire.

"We'll take them down Sara, for Will and everyone else these sick freaks have used as resources," Kevin said in an uncharacteristic moment of seriousness.

"Yeah... yeah." she says, glancing back at the cold room for a moment as if to make sure nothing bursts out from the closed door. "We better go check out that room across the hall."

This room was a more general research and analysis room, as opposed to the microbiology specific room across the way. One side of the room was completely lined in what looked like kennels, though some were of abnormal size, and all were empty at this point in time.

The room floor was tiled, with drains located every so often. The tile was stained a dark red.

The 'instruments' along another wall included a variety of scalpels and other dissection equipment, scaling up to and including rather large hacksaws.

The ceiling appeared to consist of panels that could be opened--perhaps something is supposed to come out of there? The tile floor looked like it, too, could slide back when necessary.

Several workstations were in this room, and were apparently still active.

"I thought you said the kitchen was downstairs." she jokes weakly. "Come on, just one room left down the hall." she says, heading to the big door at the end of the hallway.

This led to...another door.

Well,on the right was some kind of decontamination area. Ahead was ANOTHER thick door.

It led to..yet another hallway. Two doors, one on the left, one on the right.

More guns. LOTS of guns. Or at least, some sort of barrel-shaped object pointed at both of them.

The door on the left was probably in the realm of creepiness of the other rooms so far explored, but it had the advantage of being what they were looking for.

This was the nanotech laboratory, apparently. Behind a sheet of glass was a swarm of a dark-blackish goo--quintillions of tiny, microscopic robots, waiting to be deployed.

The console in here was still functional, too.

Project Ariel--61%
Project Caliban--4%

Hitting the button for Miranda popped up the vital specs of...Miranda, down in the basement. Imagine that.

There was a list of databases underneath, marked as "compromised"--it looks like that was what the nanites had managed to infiltrate and destroy.

A lot of the information was redacted--apparently, whoever worked at this particular control panel didn't need to know a lot of specific information about the target.

There were some notes written down, too, complaining about slow progress in several systems. "Target must be erased before Operation Penalty Shot can commence."

And wouldn't you know it, that was Will's file.

There was a lot more angry notes about delays and the like in THIS file. "Can't we skip to phase 3 already and end this?" and things of that nature.

They were very cross.

"Don't worry. We have a plan for that."

"Caliban" (Charles) was apparently the newest 'acquisition' of Black Air. As such, HIS nanite program hadn't had time to sink in anywhere, apparently. He was only listed as Stage 1, compared to "Ariel's" Stage 2 and "Miranda's" Stage 3.

There were MANY buttons! Hurray for buttons!

If Sara was looking for something as simple as an "off" button, however, she'd be in a bit of trouble.

There were some schematics and what looked like a basic outline of the plans, but nothing that immediately looked like a "press here to end evil plot" button. Curses, those Black Air chaps think of everything!

"Okay, maybe we can repurpose these things then..." she says, looking the schematics over to see if she can put in a different target for the information erasure.

There was, in fact, a way to release some of the nanites into the room. IF they were careful, they may even be able to do it without flooding the room with nanites!
