"Everybody down!" Sara yells as she sinks into the marble floor and tries to raise part of it as a shield in front of the group.

Kevin took cover behind an oddly convenient pillar.

"Huh... Now I want to see 'Ghost in the Shell' again."

The man at the front desk continued his sweep with the machine gun, following Kevin as he dodged behind a pillar.

Marble began to shatter as the bullets impacted around him--this was more powerful than your standard machine gun.

"Kevin's pinned down, someone take advantage of that."

Sara raises back up from the floor, leaving a significant hole behind as her frame bulks up into a stone golem about twice her regular size and she charges at the security desk, aiming to crush the machine gun and possibly the guy firing it. She's not a big fan of Black Air personnel.

Stephanie charged the opposite direction as the golem, giving the guy two things to try and shoot at.

The problem with having a big heavy machine gun to swing around is that it's not very fast, and as such, the three people who were NOT pinned down by gunfire would find themselves on top of him pretty damn fast.

That's when one a woman in what can only be described as power armor smashed through the security door...and wall around it. With a hydraulic whir, she swung the massive arms around to take on all comers.

Fangs and claws would only do so much against a power suit, so Steph made a flying leap at the far squishier machine gunner.

Sara gives Steph a faint nod and (somewhat clumsily) turns away from the machine gunner. "You guys fucked over the wrong scientist." she rumbles as she slams her bulky frame into the mech-driving woman.

The machine gunner took a step back, attempting to connect with a roundhouse kick to Steph's face. Would he be in time?

The mech tottered for a second, and then grabbed Sara's hands, trying to win the grapple with sheer force.

Sara may not be stronger than the machine's servos, but she could shift. Her hands loosen up and as she keeps rushing forward her arms engulf the mech's appendages, trying to catch it off-balance when the rest of her body slams into it's torso.

That did cause the mech to lurch a bit off balance, as the woman inside tried to adjust for the disrupted center of gravity, leaving it open for another attack.

By the time he got his leg up she was already on top of him, snarling, and very likely to just topple him over and just pin him to the ground.

Unpinned, Kevin came out with glowing sword in hand. He rushed the action and struck to weaken the power armor with care not to unnecessarily maim anyone.

With the ease of a well-oiled machine, the X-Teams sprung into action.

Kevin's sword-slice sunk into the frame of the power armor, bringing with it a shower of sparks, disabling the device. Meanwhile, Steph's massive frame knocked over the man behind the desk, pinning him squarely to the ground.

Threat one: averted.

"How much access do you have to the computer system?" she rumbles at the pilot as she trying to bend back armor plating.

"Alright then. We're extraditing you and your colleagues back to the UK." she says, pushing the woman down into the ground until she's reasonably sure she won't be able to pull herself from the surrounding stone. "In the meantime, don't go anywhere."

The room past the "security" door (or what was left of said door) was fairly simple--three chairs in front of a wide variety of monitors and readouts.

Some of the monitors did, in fact, show the outside of the facility where the X-Teams had come in, so they DID have cameras--just not easily visible ones.

The other monitors were rotating through various pictures of the facility, mostly empty--a couple shots were "blacked out" so whatever was in THOSE rooms couldn't be gleaned from here, and then another shot showed some holding cells with several people in them.

The console had several flashing red lights on it, though nothing was readily labeled.

"They're holding people in here!" Sara gasps. "We need a map of some sort..." she says, looking around for a computer console or maybe a physical map of the facility.

Nothing quite like a physical map, but a brief look at the rotating images showed, as far as they could tell, that there were only two floors to the facility. Judging from the outside, it couldn't be THAT large, unless it was some sort of tessaracted 3-d space.

The cameras showed maybe 10 rooms, if that? Most of them offices.

The bottom room essentially split into two hallways surrounding two center rooms, one labeled "conference room", the other "control room". Both hallways ended in doors.

On the right side of the hallway were three more, unlabled doors. Ditto on the left, though those doors looked...bulkier.

Steph could smell some people in the rooms on the left hallway, and...something...up ahead through the doors at the end of the hall.
