I13DT - Now Deboarding the Baggage Compartment

"Yeah, reasons like my parents."

[Narrator]

"I doubt your parents had anything to do with why I was kicked out of my village."

[Kay Haddock]

"No but my parents had reasons for kicking me out too."

[Brigid Plunder]

"The Savage Land isn't the only place they fear people with powers."

[Narrator]

"They are not necessarily wrong to do so. As I said, they have their reasons." She continued walking in silence after that.

[Kay Haddock]

"Yeah they are. They should be afraid of assholes. An asshole with a gun can kill people just as much." she mumbles.

[Brigid Plunder]

Brigid just frowned, continuing on.

[Narrator]

Without any further input, Kliran walked on, winding her way through the trees and occasionally pointing out obstacles to avoid. They could see chimney smoke curling into the air not far ahead when she stopped. "The village is directly that way. Just tell them who you are and they should help you."

[Brigid Plunder]

"Well, I just want to... you know, thank you again."

[Narrator]

"It was my pleasure daughter... I mean, Brigid. If they don't provide you with a guide, just call once you're away from the village. I will be listening."

[Kay Haddock]

"Is there anything we can do to help you?"

[Narrator]

"Take care of yourselves, friend of... Sorry, Kay. If you make it back safely, that will be all the 'help' I need."

[Brigid Plunder]

"...if we're not going to see each other again, what would you like to be called?"

[Narrator]

"My clutch name was Sionsa, but I will settle for 'friend of Brigid and Kay'." There were some noises from the direction of the village. "I really must go now. If they find me here with you, they will assume I have done something to you."

[Kay Haddock]

"Stay safe!" she waves. "Thanks for all the help."

[Narrator]

"I will and you are most welcome," she said before fading into the underbrush.
