"You'll be receiving a high-energy pulse. It'll be up to you, Nick, to ensure it's on target, and you, Sara, to ensure there's something for it to detonate against. It'll create a focused feedback wave that should collapse the dimensional instability--but it has to hit the gap from your side, hence why we need to detonate it against something over here."
