"I guess so. All I really have to compare it with so far is England, which is kind of exotic to me. Unless you include a starcruiser as another culture." The difficulty on her hologram went up just a notch, after a successful one-two punch and a few blocks. "I like British food better than space food, though."

[Bobby Bowen]

"hey, space food is designed that way. To make you eat as little as possible due to how unappetizing it is. It keeps rations from dwindling!" He replied, smirking.

[Valdis Hallsdottir]

"So we get just enough of our daily portion of carbon, since the food tastes about as good as charcoal anyway?" She smirked. "So, where are you from?"

[Bobby Bowen]

"The United States. and Canada, before that."

[Valdis Hallsdottir]

"Hmm, Canada. I can appreciate someone else who knows what a real winter is like."

[Bobby Bowen]

"Well, I don't think we can compete with a place called Iceland!" he responded, grinning and kicking his target.

[Valdis Hallsdottir]

"Can anywhere, really?" She grinned back. "Thankfully, there is the Gulf Stream. Iceland's really a nice place to live. I just wish the rest of Europe for forgive and forget about Eyjafjallajökull already."

[Bobby Bowen]

"That was some jumble of vowels and consonants you just said there."

Bobby smiled, having no idea what she was referring to.

[Valdis Hallsdottir]

"That volcano that messed up air travel years ago," she said with a smirk. "None of the English-speaking newscasters could ever get the pronunciation right."

[Bobby Bowen]

"I'll admit, I totally thout that was a supervillain plot to conquer Europe. Remote island country, immense cloud, it fits."

He chuckled, throwing a couple more punches and iicks.

"It's kind of surprising that no one got any ideas from that." She grinned. "I can't really think of any Icelandic villains who'd implement it, though. It'd have to be an outside job."

[Bobby Bowen]

"Well shoot, that's a shame. Americans have to export menial jobs to India, Iceland has to export its supervilliany."

[Valdis Hallsdottir]

"We just don't really have any, though the past was a different story. There are all kinds of 'monsters' around back then, if you believe the stories."

[Bobby Bowen]

"Hey, with what we know now, it wouldn't surprise me. We do have a couple dragons on campus back home, after all."

[Valdis Hallsdottir]

She smiled again. "I've met Aiden. He's a nice guy."

[Bobby Bowen]

"Yeah, Aiden and John are both great guys. Hopefully we'll get back to hang out with them again."

[Valdis Hallsdottir]

"Yes, the sooner the better." She performed an uppercut, to moderate success. "Maybe it's part of my power, but I like having solid ground beneath my feet."

[Bobby Bowen]

"You should talk with my sister, she has the same deal with her abilities."

[Valdis Hallsdottir]

"Oh, really? So what does she do?"

[Bobby Bowen]

"Attunes herself with the earth to get as strong as the hulk, pretty much."

[Valdis Hallsdottir]

She raised her eyebrows. "Wow. From I've heard, that's pretty strong."

[Bobby Bowen]

He smirked.

"Okay, maybe not that strong. But still pretty strong."

[Valdis Hallsdottir]

"Oh, okay. I was just about to call 'no fair.'"

[Bobby Bowen]

"I hope she's okay.. School should be starting soon, and she's helping my brother get adjusted.." he said, taking a moment to look out a port window.

She paused her own simulation for a moment.

"They're be all right, especially once word gets back that you're still alive and well. Besides, what's the worst that could happen during their first week of classes, anyway?"

He looked at her, eyebrow raised.

"I was at Xavier's for a couple of months before the big X-Men versus aliens fight in the Quad! Just saying."

[Bobby Bowen]

"Well, hope for the best, prepare for the worst, I suppose."

[Valdis Hallsdottir]

"Yes. Which is why we're doing this, right? Let's kick some more hologram ass. Maybe it'll get your mind off of those things."

Bobby nodded, squaring.up into a defensive stance.
