Melody rushed to Daniel's side once he fell.

"Fucking space pricks," she muttered under her breath to him.

"Let... me... the fuck... up," Daniel grunted, his voice sounding muffled since it was hard for him to move with all the gravity pinning him down.

"Let 'im up, douchebag, I'll keep him calmer than you can pinning him to the fucking ground," melody sneered at the alien.

[Narrator]

"I think that's enough," the Worldmind projection said, appearing again. "Centurion Zan, let him up. I'm receiving an update from Nova Prime. The description of the ship and the fact that the word 'Phoenix' are involved are enough to warrant passing this one to someone better suited for investigation. And fortunately, he has someone in mind, if our guests want to look into this more." Worldmind turned toward the X-Men. "Which I'm assuming they do, correct?"

"Damn skippy," she said, looking up from where she crouched with Daniel.

Daniel pushed himself up, looking a little disgruntled, mostly at being taken down so easily. "Thanks, Freckles," he muttered, rubbing his head.

[Melody Martens]

"I really need an equally good nickname for you," she smirked, rising and helping him up.

[Calvin Strong]

"All right," Cal said, "So what, are we meeting these guys somewhere? Are you taking us there?"

[Narrator]

"Well, actually..."

And before Worldmind could say anything else (if she had been about to anyway), the X-Men vanished in a teleportation flash.
