Cal glared at Regan. "Just shut up already. Bullshit already over, just buzz off to whoever you're bugging next."

Regan started to say something and then stopped.

"He started it," Regan said, apparently sulking.

"Right. Be nice to the 'ghost,'" he said, using finger-quotes, "That's totally what she's here for," he said, messing with the staff again.

Cal, she's a ghost. Doesn't change the fact that she's a huge bitch, but she's a ghost. I don't know how the whole thing started, but let's just leave her to her dead person shit and hopefully she'll get stuck someplace alone next time, without either of us there, and then we won't have to deal with her ever again.

In her tired state, Haley of course shared this with the entire room.

Haley facepalmed.

Cal, will you chill the fuck out? You're acting crazy, scaring the shit out of me, and you're going to be in detention for a month. You just said 'no' directly to her face? Are you a fucking moron?

She again, unwittingly shared this with the entire room.

"Regan, out of here now!" Nailah snaps at her. "My office, in ten minutes. If you're not there I will summon you myself."

"Calvin, I will ask you nicely one more time. Hand it over." she says, not quite managing to keep the growl out of her voice.

Haley reddened.

"Motherfucker...that was for him, not you, you dead bitch. Will you fucking leave him alone?"

She did remind Haley though...

Sweetie....have you been taking your meds? she managed to properly direct this time.

Haley walked over to Cal. "Cal...just give it to her...I want to be able to see you some time in the next...year."

"Right, pull the other one," Cal shot back, then his eyes fixed on the cube, still flashing its little frowny faces, on the other side of the room from him. Shit. He halted his retreat, but wasn't sure what to do next.

"Cal! You are being a crazy person!" Haley growled, stomping her foot. The few remaining lights in the common room flickered.

"When was the last time you fucking took your medicine? Answer me god damnit!!!"

"Haley, please don't wreck this room and calm down. Calvin, I'm speaking the truth. The projectors are part of the mansions defense system. Have you actually noticed them being active when Regan is around?"

Cal, by now, was actively avoiding the question of if he'd taken his medicine, which he'd gotten out of the habit of as Stan. "I... can't tell. The systems are shielded too well." If anything, admitting that seemed to piss him off even more.

Haley scowled, and strongly considered breaking down her boyfriend's door just to get his medicine and force feed it to him, a mental image both he and Nailah got to see.

Fuming, she stormed off towards her own room.

"Okay first of all, that's not happening." she says, glancing at Haley as she rushes out of the room. "Second of all, would it help if you got to talk to the school's computer? And I don't mean the one that runs all the boring administrative things."

Cal let out a derisive laugh as he edged his way toward the table where the cube was sitting and flashing smiley faces as he came closer. "So I'm going to trust the little show that you all let me see to try to keep the test covered up. Right. If you think I'm going to trust anything you've got to show, you're crazy."

Crazier than I am. Shit, did I really just think that?

Good lord, this kid has issues. Why is there nothing on that in his records?

"Okay, you don't trust us. I can understand that. But you trust Haley, right? Just hand over that rod, you can take your cube and go talk to your girlfriend and everything's going to be alright."

"I'm not in your head, Calvin. And I don't need to see the future to notice you nervously glancing towards the windows. You'll hurt yourself or break your little computer-friend there. Let's just sit here and wait for Haley to come back with your medication, okay?"

Haley wanted to just walk away and deal with her boyfriend when he was less crazy. Her head was throbbing, and she was already annoyed--to say the least--with the way her day had gone. She got to the stairs when she sighed, closing her eyes, and caught how much the situation was escalating from the psychic noise.

"Motherfucker..."

Haley spun on her heels and headed for Cal's room, knocking impatiently before just breaking the lock with her TK and barging into the room, searching for his medicine.
