Limbo 2.0: How Low Can You Go?

[Alex Carpenter]

"Just give me a sign when we should smash something," Alex said as he follows Brigid in.

[Kay Haddock]

"Where are we going?" she asks, stepping into the circle and kneeling down next to Miranda to make sure she's alright.

[Kayla Turnbull]

Kayla stares daggers at the group, particularly Regan and Kay, as she entered the circle. Apparently, everyone was full of bullshit.

[Kay Haddock]

Kay glares right back at Kayla for a second but doesn't say anything that might set the crazy psycho off. Who, being a telepath, very well might catch that particular thought bubbling to the surface.

[Calvin Strong]

Cal, however, didn't budge. "Yeah, sorry, I'm calling bullshit. You all couldn't hear Professor Weaver, right? Well, I could. She said that was a summoning circle that popped up around us. Which means that when we popped up next to the Queen of the Damned here? Someone here made that happen. And gee, let's look at who seems to know how to do that. So someone here knows more than they're saying. I think we ought to know what before we all go jumping off a cliff here."

[Steve Jones]

That got Steve's attention and he stopped walking for the circle.

"He... has a point."

[Calvin Strong]

"And this is him saying that."

[Kayla Turnbull]

"And this is hiiim saying that. Beep Boop."

[Haley Crusek]

"Shut your fat whore mouth Kayla!"

[Kay Haddock]

"You're one to talk, it's your fault we ended up here in the first place, Haley!"

[Haley Crusek]

"Because I'm so good at using magic, fish breath?" she snapped.

[Kay Haddock]

"Who knows what kinda stuff Professor Sackville's been teaching you!"

[Brigid Plunder]

"Just... just... shut up, everybody!"

[Kayla Turnbull]

"Or what, Brigid? We won't get out of hell? You heard Head Wound. She couldn't find a way out, and she lives here!"

[Brigid Plunder]

"What good's it going to do if we're all fighting?"

[Kay Haddock]

"If they'd rather stay in this place than stop being assholes to Regan for, like, 5 minutes then let them." Kay grumbles.

[Calvin Strong]

"Oh everyone shut up, the one we want answers from is her," Cal said, pointing at Regan and glaring daggers at Kay.

[Regan Rourke]

"Why the fuck would I tell you shit, Calvin?" Regan says. "Stay here. Have fun."

Regan drives the soulblade into the ground, "For anyone that's not a complete fucking moron, the circle will take us to Belasco's court. He's the only thing I know that's been able to open a path to Earth from this side."

"We make a deal with him. We get out of here," Regan says. "Or you can stay here and re-enact the Alamo when those demons come back with all of their friends. I don't give a fuck."

[Kay Haddock]

Kay just quietly steps into the circle.

[Calvin Strong]

"Yeah, walk into a trap. Nice knowing you guys."

[Brigid Plunder]

"She's the only one here that knows her way around. We trusted you when it was your crazy kidnapping friends."

Brigid stays in the circle.

[Calvin Strong]

"Yeah, not my friends, and I told you all what was going on."

[Haley Crusek]

"Not seeing a ton of options here, Cal. Let's just go. If we stay here were just gonna have to fight more. If we go, maybe we still have to deal with shit but maybe we can go home."

[Calvin Strong]

Cal sighed. "Yeah. Fight here or fight there... great options... All right, let's go blindly follow the bitch that probably kidnapped us," he said, following Haley.

[Haley Crusek]

Haley frowned at her boyfriend but stepped into the circle with the others, grabbing his hand.

[Steve Jones]

"No judgment from me, okay? But you might need to tell them what did this," Steve sent privately to Haley as he stepped in.

[Haley Crusek]

the entire class hates me enough as is. she spat back mentally.

[Steve Jones]

"Then let's hope it isn't important for getting us home," he mentally added.

[Kayla Turnbull]

Kayla glanced Haley's way, eyebrow raised, as she stepped into the circle.

[Brigid Plunder]

"Alright, Regan. Take us to Tobasco."

[Regan Rourke]

Regan stepped into the circle with everyone else and spoke something in a guttural language that gave the impression of being made up of nothing except curse words and slurs. The soulblade lifted from the ground and rose above the group. There was a flash of sickly green light and then the group was elsewhere.
