Macha started to slowly grow translucent, fading away. Vines started snaking up the walls of the lecture hall, and the students seemed to be in varying states of distress, shocked as their forms twisted and wrenched into more bestial shapes.

Nailah looks more than a little nervous when the dreamscape twists and turns around her and the people turn into beasties.

Before her eyes, the lecture hall opened itself to the night air, becoming a forest clearing as its former inhabitants ran off into the darkness. During the rush, she seemed to have lost track of Badb...

...at least until there was a sudden presence behind her, and a whispering in her ear.

"Ack!" Nailah jumps and spins around, already nervous and wary of the new dreamscape.

"Oh, don't go running away just yet..."

The figure she saw before her was Samantha... but not. The hair was the right color, long and wild and tangled. Her features were more angular, a bit of a hungry look to her as the moonlight reflected in her eyes. Her ears were puckishly pointed, seeming only to emphasize her cheekbones. Altogether her body was more athletic, and seemed to twitch with nervous energy.

"...after all, you asked for this, aye?"

"Maybe every once in a while..." she admits nervously. "Just not this... intensely..." she says, backing up more, stepping over the occasional root.

"Sure I would! How much different could a part of me be just from being isolated from the rest..." she says, looking around to try and find a good direction to run should this rather... intense fragment of Sam force her to.

Right now she certainly doesn't and, finally remembering her wings, turns around and takes off after a short running start.

"It's just a dream, that's all it is, just a dream, you're gonna wake up any moment..."

And, as surreal as it might seem, as Nailah ascended the night sky shattered, daylight breaking through, and the shards dissolving into sand below. There was something oddly familiar about the landscape, and a half-built structure in the distance.

She wasn't really sure where she had ended up except that it felt familiar and safe so she keeps heading for the building. As she stumbles through the door in an almost botched landing it slams shut and in the dorm-room she bolts upright in bed with a loud gasp.

Samantha's reaction was similarly violent, with the unfortunate result of her bonking her head on the bottom of Nailah's bunk.

"Ow! Bloody..."

"The black-haired one called them Nemain and Bab or something like that and then everything twisted into a forest and Bapd or whatever her name was was there and being all..." Right? "...crazy and it was like she was coming on to me or something and then I ran away until everything fell apart into a desert and I woke up..."
