Samantha stepped into the dorm room and closed the door with some vehemence. She leaned against it with a sigh, muttering.

"Bloody pigs..."

"What's wrong?" Nailah asks, looking up from her laptop, having a pretty good idea about what's wrong already.

She's been getting better at reigning in 'loud' thoughts but sometimes it still happens. At least you are being hit on in the first place...

"Wanna go then? I could use a break from this anyway." she says, glancing at her laptop.

She smiles and gets up, folding her wings around her shoulders in place of putting on a jacket and off they go to a small coffee shop near campus. As usual Nailah draws a couple less-than-favourable glances but at some point you just get used to it and the little shop by now has gotten used to the sphinx for the most part.
