She sighs and waits long enough to give Sam bit of a head-start before opening a window and taking to the air, not caring about who might see her right now.

Sam was the first to get back in, by a good margin. Seeing that Nailah wasn't present, she'd done her best to relax, having changed into her pajamas.

She lay on the couch, restlessly looking to the door periodically.

But the door wouldn't move. Eventually the window that had been left open just a bit did though as Nailah climbs back into the door.

She wasn't particularly trying, though her feet make her naturally quiet.

"Sam?" she asks quietly before gently putting a hand on her shoulder.

She's caught a bit off-guard by the intensity but she doesn't pull away, instead sliding down onto the couch.

Which didn't faze Sam one bit as she put her arms around Nailah and pulled her in close. Coming up for air, she nuzzled against Nailah's cheek and murmured softly.

"...thank you."
