"Well I don't know, you said you'd gotten over your Egyptian phase, before we went in there."

"I toned it down. A lot. I never said I'd gotten over it..."

"Considering what we're finding out is in my head, I don't think I've got too much room to really tease you."

[Nailah Weaver]

"Exactly! You started this whole thing!" she chuckles.

"Aye, and we've already established that I'm weird, and besides which I rather like your head-things."

[Nailah Weaver]

"That might be because of that whole 'being weird' thing."

[Samantha McManus]

"Well okay, then. Bah to your head-things," she stuck her tongue out.

[Nailah Weaver]

"We'll see how long your sub-consciousness manages to stay away." she teases.

[Samantha McManus]

"She's been given an invitation," she pointed out.

[Nailah Weaver]

"By one part out of... I dunno, some number. I'm sure they have, like, a committee or something."

[Samantha McManus]

"I'm sure if she tiptoes to the Temple of Sekhmet, she'll be fine."

"Mind you, I think she stalks more than she tiptoes."

"That's bit of an unnerving thought, actually."

[Samantha McManus]

"That goes both ways, you know."

[Nailah Weaver]

"Hey I'm not the telepath here."

[Samantha McManus]

"Aye, but you end up wandering into my head anyway."

"How the heck does that work then?"

[Samantha McManus]

"It's probably a sign that I, in my wantonness have left the bloody door open, but I choose to interpret it as a sort of moral equivalency because it makes me sound better."

She chuckles. "Fair enough. Though even with an open door I still have to walk over and... okay you know what, nevermind. This is too confusing right now."

"Aye, and who says you aren't?"

[Nailah Weaver]

"Walking over? I think I would have noticed if I was a telepath."

[Samantha McManus]

"Because I'm so alert when I'm asleep?" She laughed.

"Well no. Just... I dunno." she shrugs faintly.

"Not like I'm begrudging you it, aye?"

"You've got an open invitation too."

"Yeah but... I've never been able to do anything like that. I mean I don't wanna blame you but are you sure you didn't just... pull me in or something?"

"Well I'm making contact with you subconsciously. You've never had a path to get there before."

"I guess that makes sense."

"So we just have to live with the idea that sometimes the dreams will be green, and sometimes sandy, aye?"
