The doors open again and the butler clears his throat.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it is my honor to introduce..." he begins, but is cut off by a hand on his shoulder.

"Thank you Ellerbee. But it is best I make my own introductions," comes a gentle voice as a similarly tall and slender man moves in front of the butler and toward the head of the table. Ellerbee swiftly races his master to the chair and pulls it back from the table before the man sits gracefully.

"I am glad so many of you decided to come," their host smiles, nothing but kindness showing in his large, exceedingly blue eyes. He appears no older than his butler, but younger in spirit.

He looks out over those gathered.

"That reason is you have been carefully chosen for an expedition to places no human being has set foot. You may of course refuse, but please do hear me out."
