Becca blushed, full-body-and-hair again, as the reminder of the tail totally didn't make her contemplate just how far up Nailah's lion-features went. Honest. Really. "Well, tails are probably more fun than not being able to see who you're kissing very well," she said with a little grin.

"That's one cocky grin for someone who just turned a very pretty shade of pink." she teases a little, mostly to avoid thinking too much about what Becca could mean. Not that it's helping too much, which ends up showing in the tip of her tail twitching back and forth.

Becca rolled her eyes, looking down at her hand. "I told you before, I do not turn oh my god, I'm pink," she said, blinking as she saw her hand. "I... wow, really? Now I feel like a bitch for not believing you two..."

"You don't know that," Becca said, blushing harder. "It could just be my face. And my arms," she reasoned. She pulled up the edge of her shirt about an inch to look at her stomach. "Oh... I... guess it is all over."

"Well I just... figured... I mean..." Nailah mumbles, grabbing her tail and kind of clutching it to her chest to keep it from spazzing out even more. Something she usually only does when watching a scary movie or similar. Not that she's scared, this is a new and different kind of excitement and nervousness. Okay, an inch of exposed stomach isn't really a big deal but the topic and the implications on the other hand...

Becca blushed harder for a minute, and she met Nailah's eyes, and then... well, she couldn't help it.

She giggled. She giggled hard. Something about it just seemed... funny. They'd kissed, they'd liked it, and now both of them were sitting here getting all flustered, it was... cutely funny. So she giggled, hugging Nailah while she felt that nervous tension break.

There's a split-second when Nailah is confused and almost mortified at Becca's sudden laughter. Did she do something wrong? But when she hugs her she realizes that nothing's wrong. In fact everything's perfectly fine and she joins in on giggling at the absurdity of both of them kinda freezing up over... something. What was it that had been so embarrassing? Eh, can't have been that bad since they're laughing about it now.

Becca's giggles died down, still hugging Nailah. "Oh god, we're a pair, aren't we," she said, the hint of a giggle still in her voice.

Nailah smiles. "Are we? I mean... like... going steady then?" After the laughter jsut now it's hard to really be awkward. She's just not really sure what to call this. Or if it even needs to be called anything.

"Oh, I don't know... it's still confusing when we put it like that," Becca admitted, but with the tension broken, she didn't even feel her smile waver. "It just... felt right, you know? I mean..." She gave a thoughtful look. "I mean, I don't feel like things are different. I mean... I still want to sit and make fun of American Idol with you tonight, just... well, not from the other side of the couch?" She gave Nailah a little kiss. "Enjoy now, define later?"

"Hey you brought up the pair thing." she teases. "But yeah... I guess it doesn't really change things much, does it? Just... makes it better." she adds a bit more thoughtfully but still smiling brightly.

Becca felt her eyes well up, and hugged Nailah tighter as she willed the tears back, not wanting to move back to where Nailah could see her while she still looked like she was about to cry. "Thanks," she whispered.

That was around when Samantha got back to the dorm, stepping into the common area. As the couch was in plain view, there was a brief double-take.

Ooookay. Don't look weirded out. If you look weirded out, Becca is going to notice in a heartbeat. And probably make you sit there until you're not weirded out. Maybe make you watch them kiss or.... yeah. So... don't look weirded out.

She smiled as best she could.

"Hey ah... I was thinking maybe of ordering pizza tonight?"

"Oh! Sam!" Nailah says, disentangling herself from becca a bit. Just to be polite and look at Sam of course, not because she feels weird about getting 'caught'. That would just be silly. "Yeah, that... that sounds good."

Becca herself felt a little weird, since Sam just walked in, and she really didn't want Sam to feel like an odd person out or anything. "I could murder a bacon and pepperoni tonight," she admitted, grinning.

Nailah kinda glances at Becca as if to ask 'What now?' Acting as if Sam wasn't there would just make her uncomfortable for sure but keeping a distance to Becca just because their friend is there too seems equally weird.

Becca patted Nailah's hand, and didn't move farther away... but she wasn't about to start hanging all over her, either. It was just like when you were out with your friend who has a boyfriend... you don't mind that they're boyfriend and girlfriend, you just don't want them making out and hanging all over each other. So while Sam made the phone call, Becca leaned forward, picking up the remote, brushing her hand against Nailah's again as she sat down.

Just do what she's doing. Pretend that you're not nervous about this and you won't be. Nailah smiles faintly and takes Becca's hand when she sits down again, intertwining her fingers with Becca. For a moment she's distracted by the contrast of Becca's pale skin next to hers and for some mysterious reason the thought makes her blush just a little bit.

Samantha's gaze couldn't help but stray to her friends a few times during ordering, and it did perhaps take a little longer for that distraction. Soon though, she hung up the phone. A blush was certainly creeping into her cheeks.

"That's all sorted, then. Should be here in a few minutes."
