"I turn into what people are thinking about."

[Nathaniel Davis]

"Ah. Bummer that. I just have to deal with my instincts and the occasional instinctual shift. That must be tough for you."

[Samantha McManus]

"I'm getting better at keeping it from happening when I don't want it to, and sometimes I can focus on a given person to control what I shift into, but that's kind of just a party trick."

[Nathaniel Davis]

"Even party tricks can be cool. At least you're... I'm sorry. I shouldn't be playing 'my stuff's worse than your stuff'. Everybody's stuff is hard in its own way."

[Samantha McManus]

"It's okay. I mean, I'd show you but with this many people around my aim probably won't be too good."

[Nathaniel Davis]

"It's okay. I don't need to see." He sniffed at the last of his fish sticks. "Yeah, I think I'm done with these. You want to go for a walk?"

"Sure thing. Any place in mind?"

[Nathaniel Davis]

"Just around the grounds unless you know of some other place. I can show you some of the quieter places just in case you ever really want to hide from other people."
