"There's so many of them..."

She straightened her posture, trying to face this unafraid.

Cracks begin to appear in the sky and suddenly it's falling apart, each shard shaped like a bird that soon begins to flap it's wings, thousands of them pouring down as the night-sky crumbles. Soon the air is filled with black feathers and beady eyes, but inbetween them Sam would be able to spot glimpses of Do'noma.

"Crows..."

"It's crows again...
" she mumbled.

And they were getting closer, the flock tightening around her until crows were brushing their wings against her, flying into her, trying to land on her shoulders before being bumped away by the next one passing by in the feathery chaos.

They were certainly trying to. And the more Sam worried the more insistent the birds got. But among them she could spot glimpses of brown feathers and suddenly Do'noma's hand closed around Sam's.

"No bad spirits. Mean no harm."

"Everything more real here in a way. Hold on, almost done..."

As the crows descend and try to hold on to whatever they can Do'noma pulls Sam close, getting covered by the swarming birds as well.

"Almost through..." she elaborates without really clearing anything up. And as the crows envelop them the birds begin to disappear after landing until they find themselves on the ground in the middle of the wilderness. It'd seem like they were back in the real world but someting about the landscape feels off.

She nodded and took her first wary steps away from Do'noma, looking around.

Do'noma sat down and closed her eyes as Sam stepped away, seemingly leaving the shaman behind faster than she's walking somehow. Soon she's only a speck on the horizon as the vegetation around Sam grows a little less sparse.

More vegetation meant more places something could hide, and Samantha's eyes darted about to look for movement as she walked.

"What are we looking for?" an overly excited voice suddenly comes from behind and a little to the side. Somehow a coyote has managed to sneak up on Sam, almost as if it had popped out of thin air and is happily following her along now.

"That's boring." Coyote decides after half a second of consideration. "Why would you go looking for something you don't know."

The coyote shakes his head and jumps off, seemingly covering much more ground than it should with each hop until it disappears.

A little ways away a porcupine is bumbling along, not looking like it's about to stop for Sam.
