"Found him when he was little. We think he is one of your people but hard to tell and now it does not matter."

"I thought 'my people' couldn't be touched by the spirits?"

[Nailah Weaver]

"Of course. But you not realize it. You only see people... be strange?" she picks up a word Sam used to describe it. "We will talk more but I need to see Chief, convince him you are not..." she gestures around a bit but then just gives up, figuring Sam can piece together what she means. Not to mention that she's vaguely embarrassed about the fact that she invited Sam technically without permission. "Little-One can show you around, yes?"

"I can. Yes," he nodded.

"Hope I'm not too much of a burden."

"Don't know if he appreciates them, but idle hands being what they are, it keeps me busy."
