"They could have just made the whole series about him," Ryan said. "I always got bored when they went back to Frodo in the other movies."

"I agree wis you completely and utterly. But, eet would haf deviated from zee books and zee actual quest to return zee ring...which...could haf been done quicker wis zee eagles." She points out.

"Right! So bring in eagles, drop it in a bombing run, and then the rest is him leading the war against the orc hordes."

"Precisely." She says with a big smile.

He smirked. "I guess in the movie, I'd be the eagle, then."

"Simply because you haf wings?"

She rolls her eyes with a small laugh. "Your strength lies in more zan just your wings, and you know it."

"Well I'm not comic relief," he pointed out. "Or an arrogant elf."

"You can be comic relief at times. At least, in my personal experience. From what I haf read off your profile and heard off, you are like zee hero. Like Strider. Mais, as far as I know you are not zee heir to such an important role, non?" She says with a smirk.

"Well now you're just trying to butter me up," Ryan said, with a slightly sheepish smile.

"Perhaps. But I don't think you'd be against zat." She admits, laughing lightly.

"Well, no, not particularly," he admitted. Yup. Just a joke.

"See? So no harm done." She says with a smile. "I mean, I would presume you would tell me if eet actually bosered you, non?"

"If you had zee choice to be off any race in zis setting, what would you choose? And why?" She asks curiously.

He shrugged. "Don't know. Everyone's kind of messed up, really. Probably the hobbits, because they're the ones who weren't all just about killed off."

She looks at him and can't help but giggle a bit. "I must admit, eet is difficult to imagine you as a hobbit. Granted, eet is difficult to imagine like zat, non?"

"Depends on how short they are," he said. "I'd... make a funny hobbit. I don't know how a flying hobbit would work. Like a parakeet instead of an eagle, I guess."

She laughs. "Mon dieu I just pictured a parakeet wis Frodo's face."

"See? I make a better eagle than a hobbit," Ryan said, grinning.

"Okay, okay. You haf me zere." Veronica says, wiping the light tears of laughter from her face. "I must find a picture off zis hobbikeet, zough. Eet is terribly amusing."
