"Where'd you take this one?" She asked, indicating the one with the two big felines.

"Back home, first time meeting Vertie. Vicious thing literally climbed me and held on for life. One of the...kids I had brought with me managed to take the picture before my Dad blew a fuse." He pointed to the huge maned feline. "Vertie managed to calm him once she saw the picture and kept him from smashing the "man made abomination". That's our mother." he pointed out the large black feline with large mesmerizing eyes. "Only Vertie and I share a mother.

"Suddenly my shit seems kind of petty," she said, looking at him.

[Gar Easley]

"The night we left was the night my devoted father decide the best way to make sure Vertie and her gift stayed within the Pride was to "marry" her off...to me." Gar shook his head.

[Melissa Castro]

"Can I go punch this 'man' in the face now?" Her skin started to shimmer.

[Gar Easley]

"I would pay to see that. A shame he'd never leave home, sent other after us though. Just wanted you to have a better understanding of why I'm so protective of her. I know I can come across as "creepy stalker"."

[Melissa Castro]

The shimmer on her skin died down, "Well, I'll pound the shit out of anyone else he sends after you two. No one deserves being hunted like that."

[Gar Easley]

"If there's anything left after I'm done, go right ahead. My form of self defense doesn't leave much behind, which funny enough is why one of my "extra" courses is in hand to had combat styles."

[Melissa Castro]

"Makes sense," she said. "Enjoying the business courses?"

[Gar Easley]

"Eh, but I'm smart enough to know where it's going to get me so no slacking. There are other things I much rather be doing, but those will not help me run a successful restaurant."

[Melissa Castro]

"No, probably not. But could I tempt you to slack for a while?"

[Gar Easley]

"I think I can be persuaded." He lightly pulled the phone from her hands and set in aside.

[Melissa Castro]

She smiled at him, "I'm all healed up."

[Gar Easley]

"Good to know, I promise not to break you again, but if you've got planned what I hope you have planned, things may get a little growly." He grinned wide.

[Melissa Castro]

She grinned back and her skin shimmered, "I can handle growly." She stood up and dragged him into the bedroom.
