"Or trick arrows," he said, "I've been practicing with some basic ones in the Danger Room."

"That I wouldn't recommend unless you're very confident, I'm afraid. Not every trick arrow is a winner, either."

[Graham Jaeger]

"I was trained by a world class archer who says I'm a natural. Did I mention he's a perfectionist?"

[Samantha McManus]

"And humble, too?"

[Graham Jaeger]

"He was in the Olympics. Twice. Gold medal the first time. The second time didn't turn out too well though. Some drug scandal got him disqualified. He was framed, so he tells it anyway. It wouldn't be the first thing he lied to us about."

"I'm not intending to demean your father here, just that we'll have to see, aye?"

[Graham Jaeger]

He nodded.

"I'm really just trying to say that I'm confident in my abilities, but I'm willing to learn more and am not opposed to further training... as my Danger Room activities can attest."

[Samantha McManus]

"And believe me, I do appreciate the enthusiasm. If that keeps up, I'd imagine we will have a place for you on the teams."

"I can't be like my dad and be content to sit by and let the world crumble, to just accept inevitability and prepare to simply survive. I'd rather prevent it altogether."

"I can't promise they'll all be world savers, but we do some good."

"Sometimes things crumble slowly, brick by brick."
