At least I can wear what I want, Gemma thought as she sat at the reception desk in the admin building. With stuff going on (and being a student worker), Gemma had pulled the shift for manning the desk on the weekend. She didn't have to stay here as long, but it was usually pretty dead, which also meant kind of boring. She was currently engaging the computer in a ruthless game of solitaire while occasionally glancing at the clock.

"Getting paid to play solitaire? I should tell your manager you need more files to alphabetize," Trev teased quietly leaning on the counter, smirking.

"No one is generating files to alphabetize on a Saturday," she said. "I'm only hear to field phone calls and we're not getting many of those either."

Trev pulled out his phone and dialed the number of the front desk Gemma sat behind, a stupid grin on his face.

As the phone rang, Gemma checked the caller ID and sent the call to voicemail. "Arsehole," she said, but she was grinning.

"Hey, I could be an important donor and you just sent me to voicemail. Well, I *never*" Trev said dramatically, laughing.

"I have that number memorized," she said, sticking out her tongue. "It doesn't belong to an important donor."

"Oh? I'm important enough to memorize am I?" He teased.

"I only see it all the time on my phone," she teased back, "I suppose I should get around to actually adding it as a contact."

"Honored to aghast in a heartbeat: I'm not a contact yet?" He teased, a mock hurt expression on his face.

"Well, I planned to get around to it eventually, but I'm so busy honing my solitaire skills..."

"Not very well. You totally could have put that queen onto that king, and then that whole row would have gotten freed up," he grinned.

"Backseat driver," she said rolling her eyes.

"Working until 5:00, then I was going to go get dinner in the cafeteria," she said, turning to face him.

"Wouldn't you rather have your boyfriend take you to town and buy you dinner at one of four places he made reservations at tonight, depending on whether you want Italian, Asian fusion, Tapas or pub fare?" he grinned.

"You made four reservations?" She raises an eyebrow.

"Well I'm going to cancel three of them...but didn't want to make you wait or choose the wrong one," he smiled.

"And so it shall be..." Trev smiled tapping into his phone for a few minutes. "Done. You want to change or anything after shift? Not that you need to. You look amazing," he quickly added.

"Should I dress up? You know the place better than I do." She was currently sporting the nice t-shirt and nice jeans look.

Trev was wearing much the same. "Nah. You look great. This place isn't that fancy. Good reviews though."

"If you girls don't like at least one thing on the menu, you can drop me from a great height and see if I bounce," he chuckled.
