Graham snapped awake in the infirmary with a gasp for air. He sat up, looking around like a trapped animal that wasn't sure where it was.

Vertie had napped "Kay" free for a while and now was up, dressed and looking for a nurse to discharge her. She smiled as she spotted Graham in bed, but rushed to him when he sat up suddenly. " Woah, woah. It's ok and sorry for this." She placed her hand on his bare arm and sent him her feelings, the happiness she felt seeing her brother, the restfulness she was still feeling from her nap.

Graham calmed instantly, even smiling a little.

"Oh... hey Vertie. You get taken out too?"

She smiled and patted his arm before pulling a provided chair over. "Yeah, Kay sneaked up on me. You?"

"Ooo...ouch. I'm glad she didn't. I'm sure she didn't mean to. The staff will make sure she's alright too. Things got a little wild in the cafeteria too. Gar popped a blood valve when I went down...got shouty."

"He can be. I'm just glad all he did was roar. Not the best, but a whole lot better the hitting." she smiled.

"I think it just ended. I overheard the nurse just before I spotted you in here and you came to kinda suddenly." She chuckled. "Shifter metabolism?"
