"Then remember that it is better to go slowly and maintain good form," Gideon said, "You'll make progress going quickly, but you may injure yourself. Go through this exercise in the same way, slowly and trying for perfection. Strength will come in time, and with strength you will be taught more complex exercises."

"With the amount of excitement on campus I'd imagine you'll be waiting for a bit," Gideon said, "All of the experienced telepaths will be...busy."

There was an undertone of excitement to the last word. It practically radiated off Gideon. Thoughts of battle danced in his head. Killing, blood, burning flesh, and the feeling of Severing another's mortal coil.

"I need to meditate..." Gideon said before turning to leave.

Steve caught a glimpse of those vile images and any remaining notion of seeking further advice from Gideon died violently. He felt like he was going to throw up.
