Jennifer is in the secret room, sprawled out on one the big couch with a half-drunken bottle of wine in her hand. Her ipod is hooked up to the small stereo in the room, cycling through her music. Occasionally she sings along with varying degrees of accuracy.

There was a lot of rattling in the air ducts, which eventually- EVENTUALLY, made its way closer to where Jen was. Finally, with a rattle, the air duct she came through pushed open and Alex came tumbling out, muttering something pretty unkind about secret rooms. It took him a minute to notice Jen there as he oriented himself. "Oh... uh, hi."

"Oh, uh, hey. I was just bored and thought I'd... try my luck at crawling through air ducts. I thought this was all a big joke for a while..." He eyed the wine. "Oh god, is there booze down here? Or did you bring that?"

"Just my best guess," he grumbled. "She used to be all secretive and try to hide that she was a telepath, right? So when we finally found that out, I jes started thinking about things I'd done around her that I couldn't figure out why I did. Y'know, stuff I didn't even remember starting to do?" He passed the bottle back. "I might be the muscle, but I'm not stupid."
