[Sidney Young]

"Hmm... Something that'll occupy the werewolf and the silly putty in particular..."

[Marcie Tiboldt]

"You could fake like you're going to be in one place and then go to another," Mars suggests.

[Sidney Young]

"Nah, we need them off our back for longer than an hour..."

[Marcie Tiboldt]

"Hmm. That is pretty tough," Mars agrees.

[Sidney Young]

"I'll talk to Emily, maybe she can talk to her mom. They're both a little weird so who knows."

[Marcie Tiboldt]

"Well, if you figure it out, I'd love to come," Mars says. "It's been forever since I went to a party."

[Sidney Young]

"Don't worry, I'll make something happen. You invite the people, I'll get the location and the booze?"

[Marcie Tiboldt]

"Sure," Mars says. "Sounds like a plan."

[Sidney Young]

"Excellent. Good thing you fell into my pile."

[Marcie Tiboldt]

"It was pretty lucky, yeah?" Mars agrees.

[Sidney Young]

"You didn't jump into my pile on purpose, did you?" she asks, narrowing her eyes at Mars. "I might have to punch you if you did." she goes on, chuckling.

[Marcie Tiboldt]

"It looked super comfortable," Mars admits. "I didn't expect it'd hurt so much."

[Sidney Young]

"Pff, you wuss." she chuckles.

[Marcie Tiboldt]

"Not all of us bounce back from a broken neck," Mars says.

[Sidney Young]

"Still hurts." she shrugs. "Or, you know, doesn't. Cause I'm not a wuss." she smirks.

[Marcie Tiboldt]

"Or maybe you have nerve damage," Mars teases.

[Sidney Young]

"Please, if I had nerve damage wold my foot be doing this?" she asks, twitching her foot on purpose.

[Marcie Tiboldt]

"Nah, that's normal. It's just the shakes. My uncle gets them all the time," Mars says, waving her hand dismissively.

[Sidney Young]

"There ya go then, healthy as an old dude. Wait..."

[Marcie Tiboldt]

"An old alcoholic clown," Mars says with a smirk.

[Sidney Young]

"Oh god, even worse!"

[Marcie Tiboldt]

"Oh, trust me, Franz isn't even my most embarrassing uncle. You got off lucky," Mars says.

[Sidney Young]

"Yeah, lucky." she chuckles. "You from a big family then?"

[Marcie Tiboldt]

"Pretty much," Mars says. "What about you?"

[Sidney Young]

"Not really. Got an older brother but I haven't seen him in a while."

[Marcie Tiboldt]

"Well, that's one better than me," Mars says. "I'm an only child. I've got, like, 30 cousins but no siblings."

[Sidney Young]

"My mum has a sister. She's in jail most of the time so she ain't got time for cranking out little poop-machines."

[Marcie Tiboldt]

"Oh, don't even get me started," Mars says. "Any given day, about half my family is in prison. It's ridiculous."

She rolls her eyes.

[Sidney Young]

"Haha, wow, that's almost impressive in it's own way."

[Marcie Tiboldt]

"Yeah, they're an impressive bunch of losers," Mars says.

[Sidney Young]

"What they in for? I think my aunt's in for trying to rob a pub up in Biggleswade."

[Marcie Tiboldt]

"Oh, Mary and Joseph, let me think," Mars says. "...Aunt Fifi and Gigi have another year or so for armed robbery. My uncle Seymour has ten years for aggravated assault. I think I have a couple of cousins serving twenty-five to life on a couple of murder charges, but my da' never talks about them so who knows what happened there. Another of my cousins, Kylie, I think she's still in a juvenile hall in the States for pickpocketing and forging checks."

That was leaving aside the outstanding warrants and people who had broken out of prison, but Mars figured they didn't count.

[Sidney Young]

"Wow, holy shit, your family's everything but boring, huh?"

[Marcie Tiboldt]

Mars shakes her head, "Trust me, they sound way more exciting then they are."

[Sidney Young]

"Pff, everyone thinks that about their family. Yours sounds like they're part of the freakin' mob." she chuckles. "Remind me not to piss you off too much." she says and gives Mars a friendly punch in the shoulder.
