Haley laughed, "no--it's music from a game show, silly! It's called Jeopardy! You'd probably be really good at it, you have to be like super smart to be on and you have to answer in the form of a question. My dad loved the show."

[Roland Sackville]

"I dunno. I tried watching that Millionaire show, and didn't recognize half the things they were talking about."

[Haley Crusek]

"Jeopardy has lots of history shit."

[Roland Sackville]

"I'll have to check it out sometime.


Got it," he said, snapping his fingers.

[Haley Crusek]

"Okay. So you help me get swole. And I....?"

[Roland Sackville]

"Dancing. I haven't been dancing in...

A long time."

[Haley Crusek]

"Sure," she grinned. "You'll probably have to help me with that too, though. I've never really danced before."

[Roland Sackville]

"No, we haven't, haven't we..." Roland mused. "That's alright. No need to be good at it."

[Haley Crusek]

"Well of course we haven't. And I haven't at all, like ever, except at the graduation dance in 8th grade, when I danced with this boy who was like, in love with me, but he was so awkward, and he kept stepping on my toes and farting because he was so nervous or something. And I guess the square dance unit in elementary school PE...but that really doesn't count either. I got a detention for punching Jimmy Sellers in the stomach after he kept stepping on my shoes trying to give me a flat tire," Haley rambled.

[Roland Sackville]

"Haley. You're rambling."

[Haley Crusek]

"Well now you see how we feel when you get into a mood and decide to lecture at us for four days in a row," she said sticking out her tongue.

[Roland Sackville]

"Watch out, or I'll actually try and do that. Test of stamina and all that."

[Haley Crusek]

"God you probably would. I will totally telepathically convince you you're a cocker spaniel if you try."

[Roland Sackville]

"That would at least get you a passing mark in power control, because I'm fairly sure you can't actually do that yet," Roland laughed.

[Haley Crusek]

"Maybe I've gotten really good and you don't even know it. We'll see who's laughing then, pooch," she laughed.

[Roland Sackville]

"Go on, then, if you're so sure of yourself," Roland grinned. "Show me what you've got."

Haley narrowed her eyes in concentration, and Roland would feel at most a slight compulsion to bark.

"You know, you might have to catch me off guard with that one. Training with monks in the Himalayas has it's advantages."

[Haley Crusek]

"Damnit!" She laughed. "Is there anything other than fashion and keeping your class awake that you're actually bad at, you jerk?"

[Roland Sackville]

"You want the serious answer or the flippant one?" he smiled back.

[Haley Crusek]

"Do you want to have one or both sides hurting when I give you a telekinetic purple nurple?" she smirked back.

"So...dancing soon, and you'll help me get ripped. This should be fun. And here I was worried you were gonna make me stay awake during class for an entire month or something."

[Roland Sackville]

"I am not Sisyphus, I know which tasks are impossible," Roland laughed.

[Haley Crusek]

"What does being a sissyface have to do with that?"

[Roland Sackville]

"So much brain power, and yet, so little in it," Roland sighed, melodramatically.

[Haley Crusek]

Haley frowned. "Damnit. Should I know that reference?"

[Roland Sackville]

"Well, I'd say so, but then, you probably want me to know who the people on the radio are.

What's that one guy? Irish-French, McLemore or something? At least that one appreciates proper fashion."

[Haley Crusek]

"Touché," she nodded.

"Don't...buy a fur coat like that, though, please."

[Roland Sackville]

"Embarrassed to be seen with me in that?"

[Haley Crusek]

"Embarrassed for you, is more like it," she smirked.

"I gotta run to Weaver's class before she gives me another detention for being late Prof. I'll see you later," she grinned.
