The Estate's meticulously kept gardens, including a hedgemaze that students have occasionally described as "sadistic" and a sizeable rose garden. Benches in shaded spots are plentiful, and the gardens are popular to study in on pleasant days.

"Yeah, I mean, think about it. Well not really cause who wants to think about tiny douchebag dicks, but all the NRA assholes are suddenly outgunned by teenagers. I bet if they could buy mutations in a bottle they'd suddenly be all over that shit. Like, no one bugs Tony Stark over this crap cause his shit in theory anybody can use, ya know?"

"No I mean, like, public opinion and shit. No one thinks any of the Avengers are gonna be douchebags about their powers. Because they earned them or some crap like that, I dunno. But nooo, you wake up with half the neighborhood whispering dumb shit straight into your brain and suddenly you're 'a potential threat' and 'possibly dangerous'. They're just pissing their pants because I could walk past the Senate and hear all their bullshit little secrets or whatever. Assholes."

"What's all the commotion over here, then?" Barbara said, walking over thanks to the rather foolish sight of the two kids giggling like goofballs under a tree.

"What monkey?" Jennifer asks almost at the same time as Barbara, lagging half a second behind. Apparently she's already forgotten their earlier discussion about flying monkey butlers.
