Bonfire - A Fork In Reality

[Miranda Weaver]

"She's really not all that bad. She has her... moments, but everyone does."

[Kay Haddock]

"Ooh! Speaking of scary, we should get some people and tell ghost stories around the fire!"

[Miranda Weaver]

"Ghost stories?"

[Kay Haddock]

"Yeah! It's what you do around a camp-fire. You tell spooky stories."

[Miranda Weaver]

Miranda looks a little puzzled, "Why?"

[Kay Haddock]

"I dunno. Because it's like watching a scary movie. It's fun to be scared when it's not for real."

[Miranda Weaver]

"Oh," she said, tilting her head as she thought about it. "I'm sure someone around here knows some."

[Kay Haddock]

"Me too, but let's see who we can round up! It's more fun the more people you can try to scare." she grins and jumps up.

[Miranda Weaver]

"I imagine some of the people here will be hard to scare," Miranda said, staying seated.

[Kay Haddock]

"So? It'll still be fun. Come on." she smiles, taking Miranda's hand and given it an encouraging tug.

[Miranda Weaver]

Miranda didn't budge, "I'm... not really in the mood, Kay. Go on. Have fun."

[Kay Haddock]

"Are you sure?" she asks, not wanting to leave Miranda sitting here all by herself but also kind of eager to find people to tell spooky stories with. It doesn't occur to her that Miranda might not be a fan of scary things after the whole Black Air thing.

[Miranda Weaver]

Miranda smiles at her, "I'm sure. Go. Have fun."

[Kay Haddock]

"Alright. I'll see you later!" she smiles and runs off, munching on her sausage-on-a-stick.
